THE IDEA

It came up in 2001 in Enugu state of Nigeria when there was great need for alternative meal for the yearning masses in the metropolis. It was fashioned with the motive of providing quality, accessible and affordable meal for the generality of the masses in the town.

THE BRAIN
Mrs. Halima Olugboso brought it to limelight and it was well accepted by the masses especially by the office workers that found it extremely difficult to do cooking after the hectic day job.

She was a graduate of Business Administration in the prestigious Lagos State Polytechnic; Isolo.Lagos.She is married with two beautiful daughters.Aisha and Amina.

THE YORUBA SOUP

EWEDU: Ingredients
· Ewedu leaf
· Potash (koun)
· Locust beans
· Water
· Dry fish

PREPARATION
· Blend the ewedu
· Boil the water
· Add boiled water with potash
· Add locust beans (Iru)
· Add dry fish
· Allow it boil for 2 minutes.
· Ready to a serve with stew

GBEGIRI (BEANS SOUP)
· Beans
· Water
· Pepper
· Seasoning
· Salt
· Palm oil

Preparation
· Peel the beans
· Boil the beans
· Blend the beans and sieve
· Cook the sieve beans
· Add pepper, palm oil, salt and seasoning
· Allow it to boil for five minute
· Ready to serve with ewedu.

EFO RIRO (VEGETABLE SOUP)
· Vegetable
· Palm oil
· Pepper
· Tomato
· Onion and small water
· Dry fish
· Cray fish

PREPARATION
· Wash the vegetable very well
· Add small water and allow it to boil for a while
· Add the pepper, tomatoes and onion


EGUSI SOUP

INGREDIENTS
· 1kg of meat
· 5 bell shape pepper(tatashe)
· 6 small size pepper (atarodo)
· 1 medium size onion
· 2 maggi cubes
· 1 cup of egusi (ground)
· 2 medium size smoked fish
· Crayfish
· Iru (locust beans)
· 2 tablespoo cooking oil
· Salt
· Water

METHOD
· Boil meat until tender
· Grind pepper,atarodo and onion
· Debone smoke fish and clean with warm water
· Pour pepper in pot
· Add meat, smoked fish,crayfish,iru,magi cubes, cooking oil and egusi.
· Cook foe 20minutes
· Add salt to taste.
